Abstract

SANCHEZ IZNAGA, Ángel Lázaro et al. Determination of the Ultrasol parameters required for the Distinct Elements Method for the simulation tillage tools wear . Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2013, vol.22, n.2, pp. 33-40. ISSN 2071-0054.

Presently work was investigated the influence of the moisture and density in the behavior of the macrostructure and physique parameters of an Ultrasol, it required for the Distinct Element Method (DEM) for simulation tillage tools wear. To full fill the establish objective the physical tests were carried out in function of characterizing soils physically, as well as the tillage tool-soil interface and soil macrostructure parameters were determined by means of direct shear test and modify direct shear test, determining the shear module, soil internal friction angle, soil cohesion, friction angle and tillage tool-soil adhesion. The results allow establishing the variety dependences of the soil macrostructural parameters according to the density and moisture content present in the soil, it manifesting that the magnitude and tendency of these parameters are governed by density and moisture content present in the soil, showing shear modulus values ranging from 1 820,58 to 2 739,36 kPa; soil internal friction angle ranged from 19,78 to 31,44º; soil cohesion reached values from 8,19 to 18,68 kPa; tillage tool-soil friction angle ranging from 12,96 to 26,97º; adhesion reached values from 5,76 to 9,16 kPa and Poisson´s ratio 0,36.
