Performing Financial Planning is critical to the success of any organization, because it helps this achieve its goals and objectives. A study of the non-agricultural cooperative La Concha which is engaged in selling meals and refreshments and located in the Cuban province of Santa Clara was conducted. Data were collected and analyzed for theoretical concepts. Such empirical research methods as document analysis, observation, and mathematical analysis were used. A diagnosis of the management was made in order to describe the entity under study, and evaluate the outcome of the use of a method for performing financial planning in the short term. This outcome will allow the cooperative to use a tool for assessing its economic and financial situation, doing forecasts, making good decisions, and assessing effectiveness through ex post analyses.
