Abstract

Introduction:
Anatomy is one of the oldest basic sciences. Its teaching has evolved over the years and the teaching aids are one of the essential resources for the development of medical teaching.
Objective:
to analyze the evolution of teaching aids as support in the teaching of human anatomy.
Methods:
a search and review was carried out in Spanish and English with the keyword’s human anatomy, learning, medical education, teaching and teaching aids. Information from the years 2015 to 2021 was collected in the Google Scholar search engine. A total of 50 articles were obtained, to which complete articles were applied as selection criteria, with reference to the general objective of the work and publications in Spanish and English, 25 were found that met the parameters.
Development:
the observation and analysis of cadavers, the simple preparation of models and the rise and progress of computerized anatomy are part of the examples of teaching aids used in Anatomy classes.
Conclusions:
the study of human anatomy is essential to understand and understand the different parts of the human body. The teaching aids are a crucial support to successfully develop the teaching-learning process and thus training better prepared and comprehensive doctors.
