Objective:

To propose a digital product aimed at facilitating medical science students the study of contents related to congenital defects of the central nervous system corresponding to the subject Nervous, Endocrine and Reproductive Systems.

Methods: Theoretical methods were used in the selection of the contents. The Pascal programming language was used in the production of a software for the Microsoft Windows operating system. Results: The product obtained consists of a program and a database. The software was assessed by students and specialists applying questionnaires in which the respondents positively value the information and organization of the defects treated, the morphogenetic mechanisms, the general design and the functionality of the product, and relating images to particular defects.

Conclusion:

The use of software guarantees homogeneity in the treatment of content by different groups of teachers and favored a sound knowledge on the part of the students.
