Abstract

The paper deals with the experiences developed with the preparation of therapists educators, in the Enigma Special Education Center of the City of Guayaquil, which serves children diagnose with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), from an early intervention stages, based on a project of training, as a part of the task pertaining to a research project of the Metropolitan University of Ecuador, directed to the Management of the Quality of Education. At all stages, training is received as a formative process, involving all educational agents, and where each one of them plays a definite role: therapist educators, students, parents other relatives and the community in general. The training plan is directed to four area keys based on the performance of specialized personnel, which are: Area of focus and therapeutic intervention, area of preparation for work with the subjects involved, area of preparation for the evaluation process and area of preparation integrated to the studies developed by the therapists’ educators, according to the professional profiles. The impact of the training develop to the therapist educators demonstrates a positive influence as a result during the children intervention.
