The differentiating element must be the integrating element between one community and another. It's of vital importance that the communities identify their value proposition and from it, to link up the activities necessary for the practice of tourism; own resources and provided through partnerships; as well as the other components of a management model necessary for its sustainability. The lack of organizational structure in this type of enterprise; as well as, the low use of distribution channels and the promotion of their services, it has been a detonating for conducting field research to several representative communities in each region of the continental Ecuador. It was concluded with the necessity to implement a community management model that allows them to obtain strategies and a broader vision of the points that need to be strengthened as a tourist trade.
