Abstract
ULLAURI, Aquiles; FRIEND, Nella and BARZOLA, Julio. Physical-mechanical analysis of asphalt mortars made from recycled materials. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.1, pp. 245-254. Epub Mar 02, 2018. ISSN 2218-3620.
As the asphalt concrete, a composite material necessary for the construction of roads. This paper seeks to assess the mechanical strength of the material as a matrix, in conjunction with variable elasticity recycled such as PET and rubber materials. In order to compare the mechanical strength that can provide such materials and support resistance due on asphalt when exposed to transit of heavy vehicles concrete daily. This work is part of research Applied Chemistry, using the tools of composition of materials by software, using physical-mechanical materials described, proceed to determine the new compounds parameters to compression test results rolling for each composition was analyzed. Mechanical parameters will be established under ASTM 1559, these data will be processed by the computer using Mechanical Simulation programs and Helios Composite MEF, and these allow us to approximate the actual valuesof an experiment in the laboratory. The results will be mechanical parameters that govern the behavior of the new compounds with asphaltic concrete. Finally, the conclusions on the results of these materials are presented.
