The goal of this paper is to present a literature review of studies conducted at the global level on the influence of religious affiliation in the financial behavior of individuals, in particular, has sought to rescue the relationship on the conduct to the indebtedness and consumer behavior. The study covers the analysis of studies from 1988 to 2013, highlighting the main findings and evidence the lack of literature in this area, the conclusions allow you to find important relationships between religious affiliation and the general behavior of the people, the influence culture also stands out as an important variable in the study.
