Abstract
BARROS MORALES, Roosevelt and GRANDA MOROCHO, Jorge Luis. Impact of environment resources applied to Geometry Learning in Education: Power and Citizenship. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.3, pp. 195-200. Epub June 02, 2018. ISSN 2218-3620.
The article is based on the Power and Citizenship Education related to educational and social problems, where the axis for the issue are environmental resources applied to geometry learning, causing a great impact on the teaching process, as it is considered that, at the present time, education should be interactive with respect to the environment. In recent years, the education system has been able to perceive that, in scientific areas such as geometry, the student has been only one receiver provided conceptual contents of texts and websites, leaving aside the interaction of the learner with the surrounding environment. Studies using surveys conducted based on the Likert scale, the same as were handled with questions in a simple and easily understood by simple language showed us that if it can successfully merge the utility of environmental resources with scientific areas, arouse greater uptake of knowledge and interest among students especially in the area of geometry. The proposal is based on a change in the current educational model with a more attractive design, where young people achieve a closeness to the object of study.
