In the present research work a review will be made on the state of the art of the incidence that emotional intelligence has on the leadership style of the people. For this reason, a selection of relevant academic articles dealing with the proposed topic was made, which allow to show a general panorama of the relationship between both described variables. The importance of people in business is immeasurable, and is that although companies or businesses constantly automate their processes, to become technical their operations and monitor activities through intelligent systems, always depend on the decisions of professionals who manage and direct business activities. In this effective decision making is involved as a key factor emotional intelligence of the person with the role of leader.
