Abstract

GUZMAN BARQUET, Eduardo Andrés; ARCE RECALDE, Jazmín Katherine  and  CEVALLOS VILLEGAS, Dayse. Is communication a key piece for the development of receptive tourism?. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.4, pp. 40-45.  Epub Sep 02, 2018. ISSN 2218-3620.

The use of the internet, since its inception, has been considered as a technological tool that provides different benefits to users, within which it is used to know different tourist attractions in the world. Through the present investigation it has been possible to evaluate a simple regression model which allowed to evaluate the relationship of an endogenous and exogenous variable, international tourism and Internet user, respectively. Finally, it was determined that there is a relationship between these variables validating the need to use the Internet as a communication channel that allows optimizing user processes and at the same time to promote the development of tourism in the countries.

Keywords : Internet; communication; tourism.
