Abstract

The most relevant studies regarding rural schools in Ecuador refer to the year 2006 with a significant leap in their development. The article analyzes the characteristics of the rural school in the context of Ecuador. As conclusions, the improvement that these educational institutions have had and the financing that the state has given them for the physical and technical infrastructure of the facilities of these centers according to the environment in which they are located.
