Abstract

SANCHEZ LASCANO, Magaly; SILVA GUERRERO, Blanca  and  TRIVINO BURGOS, Francisco. Continuing education and the new curricular challenges in Ecuador. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.4, pp. 120-126.  Epub Sep 02, 2018. ISSN 2218-3620.

In the present research work, it is proposed to problematize the state of post-professional education, considering that it is not only the higher level and the university, but the new times that have produced a marked break with the paradigms of modernity and they have brought into crisis and debate the functioning of institutions and organizations socially responsible for education, the transmission of culture, knowledge and training of new generations. One of the methodological determinations was to work on the exhibition of authors and works that could academically contribute to the established themes. It is necessary to make some original crosses with them, so that the articulations of different thoughts can represent a novelty in the approach that it is investigated. If authors and works manage to generate a creative dialogue with our thinking, their contribution has a relative value. And this is key as a preparatory exercise in the training of future doctoral students. At the end of reviewing the literary works, a significant contribution is given about how to make the professionals return to the classrooms for their continuous improvement in the education they teach to their employees or collaborators.
