Abstract

DELGADO ESTRADA, Stephanie Marcela; CONSTANTINE CASTRO, Javier Antonio  and  BRICIO SAMANIEGO, Karina Isabel. Administrative techniques to consolidate farmers of Canton Salitre as businessmen. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.5, pp. 92-99.  Epub Dec 02, 2018. ISSN 2218-3620.

Agriculture was one of the fundamental pillars for the economic development of Ecuador. However, currently, in rural sectors, the perception of help from the National Government and the knowledge to undertake and administratively regulate agricultural businesses becomes a complex problem. This study focuses on farmers in the Salitre area whose main activity is the production of rice, and who have a precarious situation due to the lack of financing opportunities, means of production and market opening, because the price of the products is regulated. Therefore, any improvement in the production process cannot be compensated directly in the sale of their products, discouraging farmers who engage in such activity.

Keywords : Entrepreneurship; financing; means of production.
