Abstract

In this article the process of Social Appropriation of Wind Technology is founded by reviewing specialized literature that help to establish a synthesis of the broader issues that deals with the topic in Cuba considering it as an essential element in the implementation of any technology territories where there is an enclave community. Among the key issues is assessed that the Social Appropriation of Wind Technology has become a substantial element in order to achieve social relevance, which enables communities to incorporate with popular wisdom, the political situation of the different actors, its standards and values, and influence, in turn, in the meaning that is given to the use of technology, which requires an environmental and socio-economic approach and creating products and services that contribute to the overall development of the territory where they are installed.
