The present investigation has as objective to know the management of control to improve the performance and effectiveness of the administrative processes in the cooperatives of urban transport of the city of Guayaquil. The problem derives from the limited knowledge of the personnel about their responsibilities and functions with which they can efficiently meet all the objectives that have been raised by the Urban Transport Cooperatives. Secondary sources were used for the elaboration of the theoretical framework of the research work. The questionnaire was applied to managers and urban transport partners. The investigation helped to know the shortcomings of the administrative processes of the transport cooperatives of the city.
