Abstract

This article contains a reflection about the gender inequality into the Social Sciences contents in the first year of Secondary and the consequences for students aged 12 to 14. For that, we will take a theoretical tour of this situation. With this reflection it is intended to make visible the importance of working values such as critical awareness, assertiveness, social responsibility, freedom and respect to face social problems such as equity. It is concluded that this problem must be attended in the educational center to achieve not only a civic education of the students but a complete academic training that gives them tools to combat these social stigmas.
