The components of the sportsman's preparation are defined as the basic contents that embrace the physical preparation, technique, tactics, psychological and theoretical, of whose arsenal the Judo player is nurtured to achieve a high disposition level in the competition. The study of the interrelation among the contents of the preparation and the conditions that the Judo player should possess for the execution of the combats in the initiation stage, propitiates the application of efficient methodologies for the teaching of Judo in correspondence with the demands of the sport confrontation.
