The purpose of this paper is to present a vision of the social relations of production in Ecuadorian indigenous communities, which in their inheritance were subjected to exploitation scenarios, in order to understand a reality that, supported by the State, can become a dynamic element of development, through rural community tourism. A social investigation is presented, of documentary revision considering the point of view of dialectical materialism.
