The presented work addresses the need to assess the social impact of the professionalization of educational guidance in the training of university students. All its foundation is reflected on the CTS approach. Theoretical results are systematized related to the professionalization of the educational orientation that allowed the design of a strategy whose objective was to professionalize the educational orientation in the training process, so as to allow the integration of the orientation actions for the solution of problems and conflicts with the actions of orientation for the solution of the learning tasks. Its application made it possible to evaluate the importance of the professionalization of educational guidance in the training of university students and the impact on both the university and society. The use of resources and procedures by teachers who help the student to face in a reflexive and determined way the demands during their training and their professional performance corroborated the elevation of the preparation of the teachers, who appropriated knowledge and skills to integrate the educational guidance to the training process through their professionalization.
