Abstract

HEREDIA LLATAS, Flor Delicia  and  ANGULO CORCUERA, Carlos Antonio. Effectiveness of coaching to strengthen the transformational leadership in nursing inners of a Private University of Lambayeque, 2019. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.4, pp. 73-83.  Epub Aug 02, 2020. ISSN 2218-3620.

Leadership has become the main manager of personal qualities that allow the evolution of the social being and business management. Based on the need to incorporate students from professional preparation, this research is proposed, due to the lack of interest of some institutions to incorporate competencies in the student body. Supported by resources such as the experimental design, a test was applied to a population of 25 students of the X Nursing Internal Cycle, where the effectiveness of coaching was considered as an independent variable and transformational leadership as a dependent variable. The results of the variables according to dimensions were obtained using the Survey technique, Test: pre and post coaching and leadership (Multifactorial Leadership Questionnaire MLQ-5X), where the transformational leadership variable was found in its pre-test result located in the Regular category with 92% and the post test being in the Regular category (80%), obtaining improvements when applying the strategies. It is suggested to continue with strategies such as action plans in which there are positive benefits. To have greater validity, the normality test, which is greater than 0.05, was carried out, affirming the research proposal.
