Abstract

Many studies have sought to identify and characterize the conditions that explain the decision towards a venture, especially from the economic theory, ignoring the non-rational issues of this type of company. This work relies on emotional intelligence (EI) to provide an explanation for the fact that some options for becoming entrepreneurs and others not. In the literature review carried out, it is found that research in this direction is very scarce and not devoid of serious contradictions. A true understanding of this American issue, the development of more concrete empirical research.
