Teachers in Latin America, mainly from Peru, have the challenge of being more innovative, creative and enterprising every day, in order to face the commitments of the 21st century. Therefore, they must be trained with quality to face social demands. The purpose of the research was to determine the relationship between job skills and professional training. A descriptive study with a transectional design was carried out. The sample was 57 teachers of Initial Education. The survey was used as a technique and a Labor Skills and Vocational Training questionnaire, with the following alternatives: completely agree, partially agree, undecided, disagree and completely disagree.
