The Ministry of Public Health in Cuba regulates through the Law of terrestrial waters, the supply of a water suitable for human consumption. The province of Cienfuegos presents a complex situation, even in those areas that have abundant annual rainfall, which are cyclical sources of renewal of the aforementioned resource. The objective of the research is to propose a methodology that contributes to management of water risks that affect health.
