Abstract
VERAMENDI VILLAVICENCIOS, Nancy Guillermina; PORTOCARERO MERINO, Ewer and ESPINOZA RAMOS, Francisco Elí. Lifestyles and quality of life in university students in time of Covid-19. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.6, pp. 246-251. Epub Dec 02, 2020. ISSN 2218-3620.
The present research examined the relationship between lifestyles and quality of life. A cross-sectional, observational, correlational study was carried out in a population of 163 students from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma Altoandina de Tarma-Peru, recruited electronically between the months of June and July 2020. Two online scales recorded perceptions about lifestyles and quality of life. Spearman's Rho correlation test was used in the inferential analysis. The main findings indicate that the students had a healthy lifestyle (Mean = 81.9) and a good perceived quality of life (Mean = 152.5). On the other hand, there is a significant relationship between lifestyles and quality of life (rs = 0.67; p≤0.000). It is concluded that there is a positive relationship between lifestyles and quality of life, the greater the lifestyle, the greater the quality of life perceived in the study population.
