Abstract

The crimes of aggression with chemical substances have become widespread worldwide. Although their number is not representative, they have taken a certain boom as a form of revenge. Resulting in a preference for the perpetrators in the case of femicides. In Ecuador, at the legislative level, the intention is exposed to guarantee the life of human beings, to live in a healthy environment, free of violence and good living, but there is uncertainty related to the mechanisms for the prosecution of these crimes of harm to health. The Comprehensive Organic Criminal Code does not expressly classify this crime that is committed not to try to take life but to mark the person for life. In this document there is no adequate classification for the prosecution to guarantee that the penalty imposed is consistent with the crime committed. For this, it is necessary to achieve understanding and understanding of the situation by the interested persons, which is exposed as the objective of the work. To achieve this, concept maps were developed as a tool, and thus contribute to decision-making to improve the legal processing of crime.
