Abstract

PISCO VANEGAS, Juan Carlos  and  TORRES QUIJIJE, Ángel Iván. Design of an isolated hybrid system to supply Hacienda Quirola. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2021, vol.13, n.2, pp. 311-317.  Epub Apr 02, 2021. ISSN 2218-3620.

Renewable energies are a very important alternative for the generation of electricity, since they do not produce greenhouse gases and allow the decentralization of power generation systems. This work carries out the development and simulation of a hybrid wind-solar system for the supply of electricity to the "Hacienda Quirola" - Bananas. The performance of this study took into account the power of the farm, the irrigation system, the number of charge points, the power of each water pump, the number of hours that the water pump operates per day. Taking into account the value of the power obtained by the irrigation system, the calculation of the parameters necessary for the selection of the equipment required for the generation of energy, the photovoltaic panels, the wind turbine, the bank of batteries, inverter, among others.

Keywords : Hybrid system; renewable energies; automatic irrigation system; photovoltaic generator; Homer.
