Abstract

The traditional lack of scientific and technical culture of the Ecuadorian population in safety and occupational health also affects the conglomerate of lawyers, so it is essential to integrate technical knowledge - legal and scientific is essential for the proper implementation of labor law. For that reason the necessity to develop a subject that will contribute in the development in the matter of Security and Prevention of labor risks in Ecuador; the present one counts on the contribution of comparative legislation of countries of Latin America and Latin America, that at the moment have implemented within their labor judicial system. The present study has the purpose of identifying the needs and demands in the ordinary justice system for work accidents and professional illnesses; which meet the needs and problems of the workers of public and private companies in the region, the state and the country. In Ecuador, statistics on labor accidents and epidemiology have provided detailed, updated and reliable information on the impact and seriousness of work injuries, establish priority areas for action and implement policies, programs and projects that help reduce the generation of work accidents and occupational diseases.
