Abstract

Decision-making is a professional skill, which help improve medical assistance of Specialists in Pediatrics. The article presents the training of decision-making skills based on the evaluation of a didactic strategy from the theoretical and practical points of view. The main results derived from the application of the Delphi Method are presented, as well as the results from the practical implementation (in the teaching contexts) of the actions designed for each stage of the didactic strategy. Besides, the article describes the results of a satisfaction survey applied to the residents participating in the study at “Paquito González Cueto” Pediatric Hospital in Cienfuegos.
