Abstract

The conception of negative numbers throughout history has been complicated, from the theoretical as well as the didactic approach. The teaching models of natural numbers of the concrete type of the traditional school, generate a conflict for the teaching of integers. The purpose of this work is to implement and evaluate an m-learning tool designed and developed to contribute to the deconstruction of one of the six epistemological obstacles in the learning of integers; refers to the conflict that exists between additive and multiplicative structures in the student. The implementation was carried out in a rural school in the department of Cundinamarca in two phases, the first, on-site in 2019, and the second one, virtual due to the pandemic in 2021. This is an investigation with a quantitative approach whose variable aims to measure whether the tool m-learning potentiates its results in times of pandemic.
