Abstract

GARZA PUENTES, Jenifer Paola; GORDILLO ROMERO, Nubia Fernanda; CARDONA GOMEZ, Leonardo  and  LARA WAGNER, July Andrea. Knowledge management model for research seedbed: academic and administrative requirements. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2021, vol.13, n.6, pp. 159-167.  Epub Dec 10, 2021. ISSN 2218-3620.

The university, as the articulating axis of the generation of knowledge and its transfer to society, has developed over the years educational strategies and knowledge management models that allow the development of research skills in students. Despite this, there is still no clarity on how to articulate these two functions, especially for universities dedicated purely to teaching. In Colombia, the research seedbed has become popular in universities, and is positioned as a holistic teaching strategy that allows the development of teaching processes through research. This article proposes a knowledge management model for research hotbeds, as a fundamental piece of the articulation between teaching and research. The results are summarized in a spiral knowledge management model for research hotbeds and the variables that allow and facilitate its implementation in the universities that develop this figure.

Keywords : Knowledge management; educational research; teacher researchers; research universities; research administration.
