Abstract

Currently, socio-emotional skills are considered an important aspect in the workplace assuming that productivity depends on an emotionally competent workforce. Based on these ideas, the present research is aimed at determining the interrelation between hotel gastronomic workers socio-emotional´s competencies and the derived psycho-educational intervention routes. The Inventory of Socio-Emotional Competencies (ICSE), and the analysis of social network are used to achieve the objective. The results show the mediation of emotional regulation in the intervention routes for the improvement of the construct under analysis. The findings are discussed taking into account previous references and the value of the interventions for the development of socio-emotional competencies in our context.
