Abstract

The main objective of this research was to demonstrate that the use of comic causes the learning of reading, as a development competence of the child's school life. The scope of the research revolves around the childcare centers of the Municipality of Guayaquil, where their 85 basic level teachers were surveyed, the instrument was validated with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.957, the quantitative approach was applied in a survey from which six questions were extracted, three on the independent variable of comic use and three with the dependent variable of learning to read. It was concluded that the descriptive results contributed to the fact that the method is effective and the correlation between both variables was 0.933, which indicates that the impact is very high.
