Abstract

DE LA CRUZ SANTOS, Ileana Dayamina  and  DEL POZO RODRIGUEZ, Pedro Pablo. Analysis of r & d trends through computerized indicators in science, technology and innovation management systems, applied to agriculture. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.1, pp. 165-178.  Epub Feb 10, 2022. ISSN 2218-3620.

The objective of this article is to characterize the current scenario of trends in science, technology and innovation management systems, applied to agriculture, during the period 2000-2018, both nationally and internationally. Bibliometric and visualization techniques were used for bibliographic information obtained from Elsevier's SCOPUS database, period 2000-2018. The institutions with the highest rate of scientific production, the most productive authors, type of authorship, author collaboration, main research areas, leading countries and journals with the highest incidence in the publication are identified. The main topics are oriented towards the construction of knowledge management models and systems and their practical application in web environments. It is also concluded that investments in R + D + i is a topic widely addressed worldwide in public institutions, universities, non-governmental organizations and private industry, not only in developed countries but also in emerging countries due to the economic benefits and social reports. The conception of development based on investments for innovation must emerge from the business sector and not the budgeted one. In Cuba, innovative transformation from science as a practice is essential in all sectors of the economy.
