Abstract

The present research aims to demonstrate the value of self-regulated learning in students of Alternative Basic Education, for which it begins with a bibliographic search that justifies the need to investigate this relevant issue in students of the modality with the purpose to investigate about different important aspects of self-regulated learning for Alternative Basic education. The method and technique used was: A systematic review of 20 journal articles indexed to Scopus and Scielo which presented the concept, purpose, characteristics, components and evaluation of self-regulated learning, as well as the ways to motivate the achievement of these learning. In addition, adult education and Alternative basic education are presented as the study population. Likewise, the research shows the importance of this learning for students to achieve their goals and the conclusions that have been reached as a contribution to society.
