Abstract
CARRASCO RITUAY, Angelica María; MORI RAMIREZ, Pepe Oswaldo; GARCIA RIVAS PLATA, Cecilia Edith and TICONA CONDORI, Madeleine Nanny. Purchase decision of university students: octagonal stamps. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.3, pp. 263-271. Epub June 30, 2022. ISSN 2218-3620.
This work was developed with the purpose of establishing the correlation that octagonal seals have with the purchase decision, in students of the National University Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza of Amazonas-UNTRM. It had a nonexperimental methodology, with a mixed approach and a correlative descriptive level; an online survey was applied to 345 students who were separated into two different groups: One was made up of health science students from the Human Medicine and Nursing professions, and the other group was made up of students from other university careers. The results indicate that the decision to purchase processed food has changed due to octagonal seals, since more than half of the students at the time of purchase considered the quantity and component of the seals to take care of their health and body aesthetics; These changes are also reflected to a greater extent in health science students due to their level of knowledge of the nutrients that the octagons warn. It is concluded that there was a significant correlation between the octagonal seals and the purchase decision.
