Knowledge is currently the most important asset of any organization in the information society. The basis of knowledge management lies in key competencies and the understanding of strategic know-how. The system aims to increase intellectual capital by developing, through learning, individual and organizational competencies. The general objective of this research is to develop an institutional diagnosis prior to the design of a knowledge management strategy that allows Promotora de Proyectos S.A. to organize, store and develop knowledge to improve the labor competencies of the personnel working in the Training Office. The hypothesis that if a knowledge management strategy is developed that allows the entity to capture, organize, store and develop knowledge, then the labor competencies of the personnel in the training office will improve is tested. The main labor competencies to be improved by the implementation of the knowledge management strategy are creativity and innovation, proactivity and initiative, and assertiveness in decision making.
