Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the level of basic motor skills that Peruvian university students have. The study was simple descriptive, cross-sectional, the sample consisted of 462 students. To determine the level of motor skills, the Gallahue Test was used. Of the 5 skills observed: running, jumping, catching, throwing and kicking, in four of them more than half of the university students are at the primary level, that is, they have the skill that a 4-year-old child should have only in the "capture" test is there a significant majority located at the mature level.
