Abstract

CRUZATA SANTOS, Rubén; ALVAREZ YERO, Juan Carlos  and  MARTINEZ ESCODA, Erenia de la Caridad. Bases of a quality policy for the career self-assessment process. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.4, pp. 540-545.  Epub Aug 30, 2022. ISSN 2218-3620.

The objective of this work is to establish the foundations of a quality policy for the self-assessment process of careers at the University of Camagüey. The research methods used, both theoretical and empirical, allowed us to single out the approach to the process and the necessary orientation towards continuous improvement. As a result, a policy is formed that contains guidelines that point to a set of self-referential aspects, related to the application of self-assessment as a participatory process, contextualized and extensible to social and educational actors their knowledge and appropriation. It contributes to stimulate reflection on the usefulness of the self-assessment process by going beyond traditional positions that limit its development as a formalist practice for the construction of quality.

Keywords : Self-assessment; Career; Participation; Continuous Improvement; Quality policy.
