ALBARRACIN SANCHEZ, Waldo; ORE LEON, Aarón José Alberto; GALLEGOS RUIZ CONEJO, Ada Lucia and ROMERO DIAZ, Alejandra Dulvina. State policy as an instrument to educate and raise awareness of human rights. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.4, pp. 718-728. Epub Aug 30, 2022. ISSN 2218-3620.
We aspire to the construction of a State that guarantees the equal rights of the population and that allows the consolidation of a true culture of human rights in the medium term, through the implementation of an educational system, which incorporates in the academic structure and study programs of the careers in the universities the referred thematic, under the premise that, it is possible to banish the authoritarian, intolerant, discriminatory, patriarchal culture still existing in Peru. By means of a qualitative study, with an inductive process based on a humanistic principle, a critical analysis of the information collected was carried out. This led to a proposal for the inclusion of a compulsory cross-cutting subject in all academic units of the higher education system, under the title "Human rights and socio-professional ethics". A proposal for human rights education as a pedagogy of otherness based on the biographical logic that structures the history of life.
