In the continuous improvement of the teaching-learning process, it is necessary to have metrics and evaluations to face the proposals for changes. The objective of this research is to analyze the learning analytics for the improvement of the teaching-learning process of the Computer Tools Subject in the Nursing Career at the Metropolitan University of Ecuador. The methodology used was quantitative and the theoretical methods were synthetic analytical and inductive-deductive, and the practical ones were mathematical statistics, both descriptive and inferential, as well as Violin graphs. The fundamental results were that the means of the measurements, both of the systematic marks of the partials, as well as the marks of the evaluations of the partials, their quality decreased as the complexity of the knowledge advanced, a fundamental element to be taken into account by the collective of authors in the curricular transformations.
