Abstract

TARQUI-SILVA, Leonardo Eliecer. Socio-integrative and inclusive properties of sport directed through university projects of linkage in migratory populations. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.6, pp. 548-555.  Epub Dec 30, 2022. ISSN 2218-3620.

Migratory phenomena are among some of the main problems that have affected contemporary societies, the American Continent is no exception. Even South America is a region that currently experiences a high rate of people who have had to migrate, immigrate or emigrate. The present experiential hermeneutical research raises the benefits and socio-integrative and inclusive properties of sport, within these population groups, positively affecting the care of mental and physical health, improving social relationships and reducing the tensions generated by mobility processes. . For this purpose, an updated bibliographic exploration was carried out within the main databases, identifying a series of proposals that highlight the effectiveness of recreational, physical and sports activities. The importance of the creation and development of research and interventions is raised, whose emergence is within the academy, through outreach projects, where the migratory phenomenon is approached from a transdisciplinary perspective, and in which, teachers and students, prepare proposals for concrete action against this vulnerable sector, being a fundamental axis, physical and sports activities, with a comprehensive health approach and emotional catharsis, even more, in child and youth populations.

Keywords : migration; sport; integration; inclusion; program.
