Abstract

CALDERON, Aliuska Suárez; RODRIGUEZ, Carlos Emilio Terry  and  BERNAL, Yasser Stable. State of the control and evaluation of the technical-tactical elements of the karate fighters 11-12 years. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2023, vol.15, n.1  Epub Feb 27, 2023. ISSN 2218-3620.

Control and evaluation are two important and fundamental elements of the sports training process, they constitute the complement of planning and execution, a record of the systematic follow-up of this process, they are a feedback mechanism, they are essential categories that allow coaches to take their decisions. The purpose of this research is to diagnose the state of control and the evaluation of the technical-tactical elements of karate fighters aged 11-12. The population was made up of 11-12-year-old karatekas and coaches from the Cienfuegos, Villa Clara, and Holguín bases, the referees who work at the base and who participated in the 2022 national school and youth championship, as well as the provincial commissioners. For the compilation of the results, several methods were used, such as the logical historical, synthetic analytical, inductive deductive, document review, interview, survey, observation and statistical-mathematical (empirical frequency distribution). With the analyzes emanating from the application of the methods, it was possible to corroborate that the technical-tactical elements that predominate are: Kisami Tsuki, Maite Tsuki, Gyako Tsuki, Mawashi Geri Shudan and Mawashi Geri Jodan in the short and medium distance. In addition, it is identified that there are no indicators, measurement criteria, or tools that make it easier for coaches to control and evaluate the technical-tactical elements of 11-12-year-old karate fighters.
