This paper makes a critical assessment of the state of information resources in the specialty of stomatology and maxillofacial surgery, using a vision of science, technology and society. A review is made of the state of this information at international level, its present and future and then from these approaches a whole series of considerations are raised on the state of this information in Cuba and its main challenges, to keep us in terms of technological innovation to keep us at the forefront of science and technology in this field.
