Abstract

Professional training represents a key element for the improvement of the different university processes. In this sense, the development of significant competences contributes to general professional training. However, determining the status of significant competencies in the training of professionals requires techniques that allow their status to be quantified. The present investigation carries out an evaluation of the significant competences for the professional training. The evaluation was based on the Hierarchical Analytical Process method for evaluation and decision making. The study was implemented to determine the state of training of physical rehabilitation professionals in the physiotherapy career at the Technical University of Ambato, Ecuador.
