Abstract

The objective of this article is to understand the perception of nursing students about an professional training course called strategic management of happiness at a university in northern Chile. The above, to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) as a central pedagogical construct. The research considers a qualitative approach, to understand the effects of the activities developed within the course. A survey with open questions was used. The results revealed antecedents related to cognitive, social-emotional and behavioral learning, thus finding that the promotion of health and well-being, its dissemination and the improvement of certain competencies from the perspective of sustainability, was a contribution according to the students. In this way, the results could confirm that the teaching-learning approach of the course would be aligned in cooperation towards the sustainability.
