Abstract

TORRES VALDESPINO, Osleidys; CUESTA SANTOS, Armando  and  SERRA TOLEDO, Rolando. Management model to contribute to the job retention of young researchers the social sciences. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2023, vol.15, n.4, pp. 53-64.  Epub Aug 10, 2023. ISSN 2218-3620.

The objective of the work is to develop a management model to contribute to the job retention of young researchers from Social Sciences centers in Havana. In a first stage, the survey was used to collect information, applied to young researchers up to 35 years of age, the historical-logical method, the non-probabilistic selection method and documentary analysis. The selected centers have great recognition at the national and international level; they constitute important references in the process of knowledge construction. In these institutions, the study of the labor fluctuation of researchers is a priority; especially young people, as essential guarantors of the continuity and renewal of scientific activity. The results show that the annual increase in the number of young researchers during the period 2017-2022 is low, and that labor factors are the ones with the highest incidence in the process of labor fluctuation of these professionals. For this, diagnoses made in Cuba regarding the subject and their updates with the most recent results obtained were analyzed. In addition, some Intellectual Capital management models in organizations were valued, for their contribution to the management model proposal.
