Abstract

VALENCIA BENITEZ, Juan Carlos  and  CARMENATES BARRIOS, Osmany Alfredo. Proposal for a training strategy in agricultural management for community actors in Ecuador. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2023, vol.15, n.4, pp. 182-191.  Epub Aug 10, 2023. ISSN 2218-3620.

Even in developed countries there is the problem of the difference, in terms of levels of development, between rural and urban areas. In them, the implementation of technological advances is fundamentally neglected, especially for agricultural activity; main source of support in the area. The foregoing brings with it low levels of harvests, mono-productive agriculture, with traditional production methods that pass from generation to generation and that over the years cause deficient productive indicators that lead to impoverishment and lack of opportunity, fundamentally for the poor youths. Hence, it is a necessity for universities and centers that generate new technologies and innovation, to place their actions in pursuit of the development of rural areas. It is essential that together with the technology, the learning algorithms necessary to assimilate them are also transferred. It turns out that the objective proposed for this article is to make available to the scientific community a proposed strategy for the training of community actors in agricultural management in Ecuador. Composed of a set of steps and techniques that strengthen analysis and decision-making in relation to this sector of the rural economy.

Keywords : Training strategies; Development of rural areas; Training; And knowledge transfer.
