A transformed society through the science and the technologies require of competent citizen that make a good use of the different scientific and technical knowledge. The present work has as objective to reflect, from the CTS´s perspective, the social need of the civic formation treatment of the students of the pre-university education from the collective experience of teachers and students of the 11th grade belonging to the IPU: "Roberto Ramírez Delgado" of the municipality of Niquero, Cuba. The results obtain show the social necessity to prepare able individuals to assume the society´s dares, the realization of new scientific investigations related to the civic formation and the social change take root in the introduction of a pattern and a pedagogical strategy in phases, directions and actions to concrete the theoretical backgrounds to gain a proper social behavior.
