Abstract

MIRANDA DE MORA, Irina Stefania  and  VELASTEGUI LOPEZ, Efraín. School motivation and its influence on educational leadership in students. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2023, vol.15, n.4, pp. 490-500.  Epub Aug 12, 2023. ISSN 2218-3620.

This article addresses the influence of school motivation on students' educational leadership. The need to allude to this subject is due to the insufficiencies observed in both variables, which affect both personal and institutional achievements. The objective of this study is to determine the level of relationship between the variables school motivation and educational leadership in the José María Estrada Coello Educational Unit, in Babahoyo, Republic of Ecuador in the year 2022. The methodology applied is mixed, as it integrates quantitative and qualitative aspects. During the study, the survey was used as an empirical method and the Rho Spearman as a statistical correlation test for ordinal variables. As a result, it was obtained that there is a positive association between both variables, therefore, the research hypothesis is assumed and the null hypothesis is discarded.

Keywords : School motivation; Educational leadership; Students.
